Who we are

HI! I'm Camille Wedekin. Born and raised in Brazil, I moved to Italy after falling in love at first sight on a terrace in Rome: at that time I was attending university in Paris. Three cities and two children later, during the second Covid quarentine, I decided to transform some of my husband's old shirts into a dress for Cora, our youngest daughter. I borrowed my mother-in-law's sewing machine and got busy.

A few months later I decided to turn this idea into a brand, which initially exclusively transformed vintage items into children's clothing. As demand grew, I also started working with vintage bed linen and remnants, creating unique pieces made to order.

Cora&co evolved little by little until I realized that my goal was to create garments that lasted as long as possible, adapting to the growth of children. I adopted measures such as the double hem, the adjustable waist with buttonholed elastic bands and I decided to focus on adjustable and adaptable models.

I made the choice to no longer work with vintage garments but with deadstock roll fabrics, i.e. leftovers from the warehouses of Italian textile industries. In this way, I maintain the circularity and sustainability of cora&co while allowing the brand to grow and flourish.

All garments are handmade to order, aiming to increase their product life, meet the needs of our customers and reduce waste to an absolute minimum.
